Brooklyn Park Police Investigate Apartment Parking Lot Shooting
Brooklyn Park police say they continue to investigate a shooting Sunday evening outside an apartment complex.
According to police, officers responded shortly after 5:30 p.m. to the Autumn Ridge Apartments in the 8500 block of 63rd Avenue North. Upon arrival, police say they found a person who had been shot in the parking lot.
Police say the victim was taken to a nearby hospital to receive treatment for injuries that are not considered life threatening.
As of Monday afternoon, Brooklyn Park police were still looking for the shooter. The motive and circumstances surrounding the shooting are not yet known.
