Brooklyn Park Man Fatally Struck While Walking on Interstate in Maple Grove
A Brooklyn Park man was fatally struck by a vehicle while walking on I-694 in Maple Grove on Saturday.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, 39-year-old Terrell Joseph was walking in the eastbound lane of I-694 when he was stuck by a 22-year-old New Hope man near the intersection with Hemlock Lane. An incident report says Joseph was walking in the right center lane of traffic. The accident happened just after 9 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 2.
Police say the driver was not injured, but the pedestrian died at the scene of the crash. Investigators also say alcohol was not a factor in the incident.
