Brooklyn Center Walmart to Offer COVID-19 Vaccine
The city of Brooklyn Center announced Wednesday that the COVID-19 vaccine will be available at the Brooklyn Center Walmart.
Between 200 and 300 vaccines are expected to be administered every day over a three-week period starting Friday, officials said. Second doses will occur at the same location.
The doses will be available for those 65 and older. Insurance is not required and there is no cost to receive the vaccine. However, an appointment is needed. Appointments can be made online at walmart.com/covidvaccine.

Brooklyn Center Walmart expects to provide 1,170 doses of vaccine a week.
Walmart is part of the Federal Retail Pharmacy Program, joining other stores such as Hy-Vee and Walgreens.
