Brooklyn Center Students Participate in Walk to School Day
Students in Brooklyn Center participated in International Walk to School Day on October 2. The purpose is to promote students getting fresh air, physical activity and being ready to learn when school begins.
Organizers say there’s also an environmental benefit of having fewer vehicles on the road.
The weather was dismal, but Brooklyn Center High School students participated.
