Brooklyn Center Police Investigate Shootings at Same Apartment
Brooklyn Center Police say there were two shootings at the Ryan Creek Manor Apartments. Police say witnesses heard shots and that the gunfire was directed at the same apartment unit. No one was hurt and no arrests have been made.
“In both incidents, we did find shell casings at the scene,” said Commander Tony Gruenig.
The shootings happened on April 28th and May 1st, at the Ryan Creek Manor apartments. Police say witnesses heard about seven shots from the first incident and at least six shots during the second shooting. Authorities say the gunfire was directed at the same apartment unit. Brooklyn Center say they talked with a few people that were on scene during the shooting, but they were not cooperating. There was one minor injury.
“At the second incident, we believe might have been hit by some glass. But no one was struck by any of the rounds that were fired at the apartment,” said Gruenig.
Brooklyn Center police are planning a meeting with the apartment owner to see if they can find ways to cut down on the criminal activity.
No arrests have been made. If you know anything, give police a call.
