Brooklyn Center Gospel Singer Records New Album
One of Minnesota’s most recognizable gospel singers recorded a new live album. Robert Robinson is from Brooklyn Center and has struggled with health issues of late.
Robinson says the new album will be composed of songs that will inspire people.
“I listen to what actually speaks to me in a song,” said Robinson. “I try to put emphasis and extra dynamics on that, which may be different from how it was originally done.”
Robinson recorded the album live at Crooners in Fridley Aug. 4. The album will be ready for purchase in October.
