Brooklyn Center Cancels Pop-Up Market Due to Weather
The city of Brooklyn Center canceled the Saturday pop-up market due to the rainy, dismal weather forecasted for Saturday. The city has been coordinating pop-ups for two years.
The Saturday Pop-Up Marketplace is the city’s way they can give local entrepreneurs a space and a place to promote their business or products. The city hosted four marketplaces in 2018 at the old Jerry’s Foods site. This year, they wound up hosting three. Organizers decided early in the week to cancel the fourth Pop-Up Market due to weather.
