Boss’ Pizza and Chicken To Open Soon in Plymouth
A new full-service restaurant and sports bar is coming to Plymouth, one that includes the “Big Boss.”
Boss’ Pizza and Chicken plans to open next to the Ramada by Wyndham Hotel in the former Green Mill restaurant space.
The new restaurant will specialize in broasted chicken.
“Quite a few people I have met in Plymouth don’t know what broasted chicken is,” said Thomas Moore, the owner, who hails from Sioux Falls, S.D. “It’s pressure-fried, so it’s not deep-fried, it’s not heavy.”
Moore appeared before the Plymouth City Council this week to talk about the restaurant and get approved for an on-sale liquor license.
The restaurant will also feature about 30 different custom pizzas, including a 32-inch pizza called the “Big Boss.”
Moore said his restaurant will be community driven.
“I’m very excited to service the Ramada hotel, the Plymouth Playhouse and DayTrippers [Theatre],” Moore told council members. “I’m all about community in my 30 years of hospitality and service.”
The new restaurant expects to open July 1.
