Assisted Living Facility Estherra Care Planned for Brooklyn Park
The city council gave a 21-unit assisted living facility called Estherra Care the green light to build on a piece of property in the 7900 block of Xerxes Avenue North. The site was where a fire destroyed a Kindercare Academy building in March 2020.
Kindercare did not renew its lease and the property was sold. An assisted living facility is considered a conditional use for the property. The city council approved the required permit on Monday night. You can listen to the discussion here.
