After ICE Arrest, Brooklyn Park Restaurant Says It’s Temporarily Closed ‘For Remodeling’
A Brooklyn Park restaurant has closed after agents with Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested one of its staff members.
As of Monday, Dec. 15, a sign in the window of Crumbs and Coffee says it’s “temporarily closed for remodeling.”
According to Brooklyn Park police, ICE agents arrested a staff member at the restaurant around 10 a.m. on Friday.
Local police were not involved in the arrest.

The restaurant opened this summer in a former Subway. It offers a mix of Brazilian and American-style breakfast and lunch fares.
ICE has arrested more than 400 people in an immigration crackdown dubbed Operation Metro Surge, according to a press release.
CCX News reached out to the owners for comment but has not heard back.
