After Cold Weather Delay, Beautiful Night for Skate the Garden
The frozen pond at Millennium Garden is open for skating during the month of January.
But skaters got to enjoy the ice on a beautiful night on January 23 for Skate the Garden.
“It’s really trying to take a frozen pond and make it more exciting,” explained Jessie Koch, recreation supervisor.
After postponing due to frigid temperatures on January 16, skaters enjoyed a beautiful night on the ice with hot chocolate and treats on Thursday night.
