A Sign of Spring: Baby Animals in Brooklyn Park
You can see puppies, baby goats, lambs and more at this year’s Spring Babies Festival in Brooklyn Park that runs until Mother’s Day.
“In Minnesota, you are cooped up all winter long. Here, we have an event that you can enjoy,” said Bert Bouwman, who runs the event. “That is the reward we have–a big smile.”
One change this year — because of avian flu — there will be no baby chickens, ducks or birds of any kind.
Spring Babies runs until Mother’s Day in Brooklyn Park.
However, in addition to the baby goats, puppies and lambs, there will be kangaroos, llamas and camels.
Bouwman says you can’t beat seeing the adorable puppies.
