A Blood Donation Could Earn You Free Gophers/Badgers Tickets
Anyone who donates through Memorial Blood Centers this week will be entered into a drawing for two tickets to Saturday’s Gophers/Badgers game.
The organization usually sees a drop in donations the week of Thanksgiving. The ticket promotion is a way for Memorial Blood Centers (MBC) to show its gratitude toward the people who regularly donate Thanksgiving week.
“Anything that might keep you from a regularly-scheduled appointment really impacts our blood inventory around Thanksgiving,” said Erica Buege, a spokesperson for MBC. “So that’s why we’re here, and that’s why we’re offering tickets to see the Gophers and the Badgers.”
Meanwhile, if you donate platelets on November 27, Memorial Blood Centers will also give you a free Thanksgiving pie.
MBC has a location in Plymouth.
