What are your qualifications for this office?
In addition to being a current Board member, I have worked with students from birth through adult for 30 years as a teacher, professor, and youth minister. I spent 12 of those years teaching for Osseo Area Schools across the district. My journey in advocating for true equity by eliminating entrenched barriers has led me to have the unique ability to understand the needs for each and every student.
What do you hope to accomplish in office?
Osseo Area schools is embarking on a new strategic plan. One of my hopes during this process is that every voice is heard by reaching out to every community that is represented in our district. Involving every community in our district will increase academic achievement for all. Another hope is that we will continue to innovate how we teach students with our current reality.
