What are your qualifications for this office?
I was Vice Chairman and General Counsel for TCF Bank for 25+ years. I have been a community volunteer for over 30 years, and significantly involved in furthering quality education on the north-side of Minneapolis, where I have served as volunteer, school board member, and Board chair at Ascension School. I am a member at Holy Name of Jesus Church where I am in the Church Choir, an usher, and a member of the Knights of Columbus. I graduated from U of M and U of M Lawschool.
What do you hope to accomplish in office?
I want the legislature to:
–restore our economy/budget from the COVID 19 lockdown.
— create a plan to for the next virus without another crippling lockdown.
–establish a commission to address racial harmony
–adopt a comprehensive k-3 reading program- “Read by grade 3” that would address the learning gap between whites and children of color
–adopt a clean energy program which would include not only solar and wind but clean and safe nuclear energy
–ensure affordable health care for all
