What are your qualifications for this office?
I am a small business owner, author, and hold a graduate degree in Law Enforcement leadership. I founded a statewide educational initiative focused on restoring the love of reading. I have worked at Hennepin County for over 18 years serving across all lines of business. In 2018 I was appointed to the Disparity Reduction department, where I am responsible for implementing a county-wide effort to reduce disparities.
What do you hope to accomplish in office?
I believe innovative solutions are harvested and executed when leaders have a deep concern for the people and the communities they serve. The three most important issues I see facing this district are Affordable Housing, Smart Transportation, and Workforce Development.
