What are your qualifications for this office?
I’m a proud Minnesotan, raised in the district. After a career building businesses, creating jobs, and serving our community, I ran for Congress in the spirit of listening, problem solving, and mutual respect. Voters of all political stripes joined me in finding commonality, focusing on ethics and good governance. I’m the only member of Congress to refuse money from PACs, federal lobbyists, and members of Congress. I represent the voters of MN03 – not special interests controlling Washington.
What do you hope to accomplish in office?
We must repair our political discourse and restore faith in government. I was elected to listen to the concerns of all my constituents and find common ground with all my colleagues. As the 27th most bipartisan member of Congress and member of the Problem Solvers Caucus, I’ve achieved results like the Paycheck Protection Flexibility Act, my bill that passed the House 417-1 then unanimously in the Senate before being signed into law. When we place principle over politics, anything is possible.
