“Northwest City Politics” Honored as “Significant Community Program” at Best of the Midwest Media Fest
A long time public access show is receiving accolades as a “Significant Community Program.”
Juanita Hoffe produced and hosted “Northwest City Politics” for nearly 20 years through CCX Create. She passed away in June 2023, after interviewing hundreds of local elected officials on her weekly show. In this tribute story, Juanita explained how she would encourage people to share information about their city.
Hoffe’s legacy lives on through the dedicated volunteers, who still work on her show. Father and son volunteers, Bob and Mike Woods, are part of the crew and volunteer Eric Margolis has stepped in to be host.
Hoffe’s show will receive recognition as a “Significant Community Program” and the upcoming Best of the Midwest Media Fest Banquet and Show on Thursday evening, May 16 in Eau Claire.
