Our Town’s Story – Brooklyn Park
Take a trip back through time and learn about the wonderful city of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. This 37 minute presentation is filled with stories about life in what is now Brooklyn Park from the periods of the first settlers to the growth as a city.
In mid-2016 production started on Our Town’s Story – Brooklyn Park. Work was done with the help of The Brooklyn Historical Society.
Interviews include a wonderful mix of people connected to Brooklyn Park. Interviewees include local historians Darryl and Diane Sannes, long time Brooklyn Park farmers Bill Schreiber and Eldon Tessman, current Mayor Jeff Lunde, and the first North Hennepin Community College President John Helling.
