Our Town’s Story: Golden Valley
Our Town’s Story – Golden Valley explores the natural amenities, area settlement, civic activities, educational organizations, and development stages that shaped the area over the years. Individuals interviewed for the video included Golden Valley Historical Society members and volunteers Don Anderson, David Kuball, Crystal Boyd; former Golden Valley Mayors Linda Loomis and Mary Anderson; current Mayor Shep Harris: current City Councilmember Joanie Clausen: and community member Marshall Tanick. The Golden Valley video contains an in depth look into topics ranging from the early days, to the naming of the city, to the large lakes, to retail development, and the area schools.
