Mayor’s Minutes: Plymouth’s Jeff Wosje
Plymouth Mayor Jeff Wosje joined CCX Media’s Dave Kiser for his quarterly Mayor’s Minutes chat recently. He shared information about a few events coming up this spring in the city.

On Saturday, March 23, the city will once again host Discover Plymouth at the Field house dome behind the Plymouth Community Center. From 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., approximately 100 vendors will be set up for you to check out and to help answer questions about the products and services they offer the community. That same day, at 10:00 a.m., Mayor Wosje will deliver the State of the City address to those in attendance.
“It’s a time where I can talk about what we’ve done before, in 2023, capture some highlights, and really look into the future,” said Wosje. He told Kiser he plans to highlight as many of the businesses in the city that he feels are helping find the next frontiers of technology through research and development. Wosje said he believes Plymouth is and should be known for innovation.
Wosje also promoted the first Walk With The Mayor event coming up on Wednesday, May 1 at the Plymouth Community Center. He encourages anyone to come out and walk nearly two miles to chat about what’s happening and to answer any questions about the city. It’s also the city’s kick-off event as it participates in Hennepin County’s Step To It campaign, which Plymouth lead the way in last year.
