Mayor’s Minutes: Golden Valley’s Roslyn Harmon
Golden Valley Mayor Roslyn Harmon spoke recently with CCX Media’s Dave Kiser about development and election judges, along with upcoming events.
Golden Valley Shopping Center
Harmon expressed her excitement over recently-announced changes coming to Golden Valley Shopping Center near downtown Golden Valley.
“We could not be so excited for this new economic development for our city,” she said. “I think it will really be a robust and vibrant addition as we really start to try and create a new downtown.”
Election Judges Needed
Golden Valley has a city election in November, and the city is always looking for elections judges to help out.
“We can not do an election properly without our election judges,” said Harmon. “If you are interested in helping out with the election in terms of helping residents know where they are going. We definitely need volunteers for that.”
Car Seat Inspections
You can contact Golden Valley Police about car seat inspections. They are free and last about 45 minutes.
“If you have a family and you want to make sure the car seats are still safe, make sure that it’s safe,” said Harmon. “They’ll take good care of you.”
