Mayor’s Minutes: Golden Valley’s Roslyn Harmon
Golden Valley Mayor Roslyn Harmon spoke recently with CCX Media’s Dave Kiser about upcoming events in the city.
She talked about the on-going series of public engagement sessions–in-person and online–regarding policing and emergency response in the city.
“The events have been very promising,” said Mayor Harmon. “We’ve had great feedback in terms of public safety and expanded response.”
In regards to No Mow May, the city’s effort to support and encourage pollinators, Harmon referred to the city’s larger efforts to recognize the history of indigenous people in the area.
“Golden Valley is a wetland we want to respect the indigenous land that the Dakota has steered before us,” she said.
