Juneteenth
The city’s Juneteenth Celebration is Saturday, June 15, at Centennial Park, preceded by a golf tournament at Centerbrook on Friday, June 14.
Health Fair
Brooklyn Center’s Health Fair is growing.
“This year, we’re excited to see we’ll have a lot more vendors,” said Mayor Graves.
Saturday, August 10 is the event, now held at Brooklyn Center Community Schools’ campus.
“It’s a family-friendly event and we really want folks to be healthy and connected to resources,” she said.
Neighborhood Meetings
The city will once again host several Neighborhood Meetings at various parks this spring and summer.
“The idea is that the staff comes out and gives updates about all of the things happening in Brooklyn Center,” said Graves. “You get to connect with the police sergeant that serves your area.”
