Brooklyn Park will host the Third Annual All Abilities Resource Fair on Thursday, February 20 at the Community Activity Center.
“The goal absolutely is to have all of these resources right here in one space,” said Erin Bonikowske, an adaptive recreation specialist for the City of Brooklyn Park.
Kari Strandmo found out about the fair last year through her relative’s school, and she was able to seek out resources for her special needs daughter.
“It’s narrowed down and very specific and very interactive with people who just need a little extra help finding things for their loved ones or clients who just want to be involved in things as well,
she said.
