Brooklyn Center Breaks Down Utility Bills For Residents
Brooklyn Center city leaders say they want residents and business owners to fully understand their utility bills.
“We want to remain as transparent as we can to our residents and we want to make sure that they understand the bill so that, if they have any questions, they can come to us and ask us,” said Brooklyn Center Communications Manager Joe Cardoza.
Cardoza reminds account holders that the city bills quarterly for the utilities they use, and the bills are due one month after they are generated.
In the video attached to this story, Cardoza goes through each section of the bill to explain what it represents.
There are FAQs listed in the newest city newsletter and online, and Cardoza encourages anyone who has any questions to reach out to the city’s utility billing department at 763-569-3390.
