What are your qualifications for this office?
Robbinsdale City Council, and Cable Commission, 40 years, elected 10 times. EDA President. Attorney in private practice. Teri and I are the parents of 4 adult children. I have served on various committees for: Robbinsdale School District, Community Non-Profits (some I incorporated), National League of Cities, League of Minnesota Cities, Metro Cities, Suburban Rate Authority, LRT (Blue Line). Innovated financing for current Travail Restaurant and move to Robbinsdale of RSI (Now Middle School).
What do you hope to accomplish in office?
With a platform as Mayor I will continue supporting great city services & heighten our Environmental Leadership, Inclusionary Practices and Improve City Council’s already excellent listening practices. I will continue responsible budgeting both in spending and in innovative revenue for taxpayers. I am the Only Candidate that helped establish cell phone tower revenue to city of over $300k per year and a Broadway Court revenue stream to EDA of millions of past and future dollars.
