Brooklyn Center Community Center

Youth ages 4 to 9 can step into an exciting steam adventure that combines science, creativity, and hands-on fun with a sugary twist.  it's two days full of Kidscientific Candyology scheduled for Monday thru Tuesday, march 30th to 31st from 1 to 4pm at the Crystal Community Center.

Ages 6-12 can spend the day at the Brooklyn Center Community Center playing games, doing crafts, and enjoying a ton of swimming time.  The cost is $25 for residents and $30 for non residents.  

 Showcase a work of art on your table by creating a serving platter at the community center’s pottery studio. Explore hand-building and texture techniques before creating your masterpiece, select your glaze and pick up your platter after it’s been fired. Dress for mess! The Leisure Age program brings the good times to the second Thursday of every month.  It included a tasty light lunch, cards and games, and fun entertainment.  The entertainment on March 12th will be Van and Kathy Nixon.  

Head to the Brooklyn Center Community Center Pool for swimming and a movie on Friday, February 20th starting at 6pm.

Join in seasonal fun for the whole family on December 20th! Enjoy winter-themed games and activities in and around the pool, plus festive crafts, sweet treats, and a chance to win prizes and candy.  Winter Waterland is the perfect way to celebrate the season, swimsuit style!
