The Wayzata boys hockey team is having an outstanding season, but the Trojans lost for the first time, falling 4-1 to Edina at Plymouth Ice Center.
The second-ranked Trojans dominated the first period, outshooting number three Edina 18-2. The game remained scoreless though as Joe Bertram stopped all 18 shots.
The Hornets came alive in the second period, scoring three goals in just over six minutes to take a 3-1 lead. Ryan Flaherty had the first two goals for the Hornets.
