The Maple Grove girls volleyball team was within two points of reaching the state tournament a year ago.
Now, with much of the same line-up, the Crimson aim to push through and reach state for the first time in school history.
Among the returning players for Maple Grove are outside hitter Kacie Schulte, who led the team in kills a year ago. Other regular rotation players or starters back are middle hitter Avery Quam, outside hitter Callie Reed, right side hitter Hannah Daniels and libero McKinley Hardle.
