The Maple Grove football team is looking for a little payback this week-- and more importantly a spot in the state playoff semifinals.
Thursday night the top-ranked Crimson (10-0) square off with third-ranked Edina (8-2).
The Hornets eliminated the Crimson 35-24 a year ago in the second round of the Class 6A playoffs on their way to a state runner-up finish.
Maple Grove and Edina meet at 7:00 pm Thursday at Park Center High School.
The winner advances to next week's state semifinals at U.S. Bank Stadium.
