For the first time in a dozen years the summer football workouts at Maple Grove High School have a new voice leading the way.
Long-time assistant Adam Spurrell took over as the team’s head coach in the off-season for Matt Lombardi.
The summer sessions- four mornings a week through July with next week off- focus on installation of the team’s offense and defense and technique work.
Over 160 high school-aged players are out for the summer training.
