She’s lost track of how many halls of fame she is already in, but this one is extra special for women’s hockey pioneer Krissy (Wendell) Pohl.
Pohl is part of the Class of 2024 elected to the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto.
After growing up playing boys hockey, Krissy had two spectacular seasons for the Park Center girls team, leading the Pirates to a state championship as a senior and scoring an eye-popping 219 goals in two years.
