The Cooper boys basketball team overcame a slow start to pull away from Brooklyn Center in a 59-37 win Tuesday.
Brooklyn Center jumped out to an 8-0 lead to start the game and maintained a lead for much of the first half.
Cooper rallied to lead 26-20 at the halftime break.
The Hawks' press forced a number of turnovers early in the second half as Cooper’s lead quickly grew to double figures.
