Perfect weather greeted runners at the Northwest Suburban Conference cross country meet Wednesday at Elk River Golf Club.
Champlin Park’s Zakariya Mohamed was the top local boys finisher, placing third. Tyler Flippen of Andover won easily.
Park Center, Armstrong, Champlin Park and Osseo placed third through sixth in the boys team standings, which was won by Blaine.
Naomi Dybvig of Armstrong was the top local girl, placing fourth.
