For a fourth straight season, the Wayzata girls soccer team is heading back to the state tournament as the Trojans captured the Section 6AAA title defeating Minneapolis Washburn 4-1.
No goals were scored in the first half of the section championship, but Wayzata rattled off four goals in the second half.
Both Tenley Senden and Sarah Hyde scored twice each and Lauren Craig assisted on two of the four goals.
The Trojans will head into the Class AAA state tournament with a 16-1-1 record.
