The Wayzata boys basketball team shot 44% from the field and ran away from Cretin-Derham-Hall in the Class AAAA state championship to earn their program’s third state title in five years, beating the Raiders 80-55.
The Trojans jumped out to a 12-point lead at halftime and outscored the Raiders by 13 points in the second half.
Wayzata went 11-29 on threes, including four made three-pointers from Nolen Anderson, who scored a game-high 24 points and collected ten rebounds.
