The Maple Grove girls’ hockey team won its fourth straight game Thursday, shutting out North Wright County 3-0.
After a scoreless first period, Maple Grove’s Cate Fischer and Abbey Oakland scored in the second period. Hadley Bakker added an empty net goal in the game’s final seconds.
Kelsey Olson assisted on Maple Grove’s first two goals and Bella Prosser posted a shutout in net, stopping 13 shots.
Maple Grove (4-1-0) plays at top-ranked Minnetonka Tuesday.
