Wayzata Girls Hockey Team Skates Past BSM
The Wayzata girls hockey team skated past Benilde-St. Margaret’s 7-2 Thursday night.
The first period featured a flurry of goals, with Benilde taking leads of 1-0 and 2-1.
Wayzata scored the last two goals of that first period to lead 3-2, and they took off from there.
Sloane Matthews and Kaci Johnson each scored twice for the Trojans.
Wayzata hosts Hopkins-St. Louis Park Saturday afternoon in a game you can see live on CCX.
