Wayzata Girls Hockey Team Loses OT Thriller
The Wayzata girls hockey team lost an overtime thriller to Edina 4-3.
Edina is ranked second and Wayzata third in the state Class AA rankings.
The teams traded goals throughout, with each team scoring once in each period.
Katie Davis scored the game winner on a 2-on-1 rush in overtime for the Hornets.
It’s Edina’s second win over Wayzata this season.
