Wayzata Football Preps for Friday Night
The Wayzata football team opens defense of its 2019 state Class 6A championship Friday night when they host Prior Lake.
The Trojans return four offensive and four defensive starters from their unbeaten 2019 team.
The regular season was shortened for all teams to six games this fall with a two-week section playoff format in play after that. No state playoffs will be held for any fall sports this year.
