Wayzata Boys Lacrosse Comes Up Short
The Wayzata boys lacrosse team lost a tough 14-12 decision to rival Minnetonka in the state quarterfinals.
The Trojans played well early, taking a 4-1 lead in the first quarter.
Minnetonka battled back and the game was tied 6-6 at halftime.
After the Skippers surged ahead 10-7, Wayzata had a strong push to go ahead 12-11.
Minnetonka had the last word, netting the last three goals to secure the win.
