Wayzata Boys Hockey Hoping for Playoff Run
The Wayzata boys hockey team is hoping to make a playoff run.
The players and coaches on the team know that a gaudy regular season record isn’t necessary to make a run at section time; they won a section championship last season despite having a losing record.
The Trojans are hoping to get a run started Thursday evening when they host Blake in the Section 6AA quarterfinals.
The Bears beat Wayzata 6-3 in December, and the Wayzata guys know they have to be ready to go right from the start.
