Wayzata Boys Basketball Team Eliminates Armstrong

The Wayzata boys basketball team eliminated Armstrong, beating the Falcons 86-58 in the Section 6AAAA semifinals.

After a close first half, Wayzata scored the first eight points of the second half and eventually pulled away.

Luke Paulson had 20 points and Jacob Beeninga 17 for the Trojans.

Wayzata advances to face Hopkins in the section final Wednesday night at Osseo.
