Wayzata Beats Blake in Section Hockey
The Wayzata boys hockey team hopes to make a playoff run again, and they needed to beat Blake to get started.
After losing to the Bears in December, Wayzata scored the first three goals of their Section 6AA quarterfinal meeting Thursday night.
Blake rallied to pull within 3-2, but the Trojans got the next goal and went on to a 5-3 victory.
Two-time defending section champion Wayzata plays Cretin-Derham Hall Saturday afternoon at Bloomington Ice Garden in the semifinals.
