Wayzata Baseball Optimistic for 2026 Season

The Wayzata baseball team is preparing for the 2026 season. That includes plenty of practices indoors at the Central Middle School dome in Plymouth.

The Trojans have high hopes heading into the spring season with returning key players – Matthew Berkland, Kieran Leatherman, Sam Mohs, and Cruz Sturm back from a team that finished with a 19-7 record last year and runner-up finish in the Section 6AAAA tournament.

Wayzata will open the 2026 season on the road at Buffalo on Wednesday, April 8th.
