Wayzata 19U Baseball Loses to Excelsior
Wayzata’s 19 and under baseball team lost 3-1 Wednesday night to Excelsior.
Excelsior scored two runs in the bottom of the first inning while pitcher Charlie Hemer struck out seven Wayzata batters in the first four innings.
Wayzata scored its only run of the game in the seventh inning.
Wayzata is scheduled to play a doubleheader at Chanhassen on Saturday beginning at 5:00 p.m.
