Trevor Janicke Skates in Prospects Game
It was a big night for Maple Grove’s Trevor Janicke Wednesday. The 17-year old was one of 42 United States-born hockey players who skated in the NHL Draft Prospects game, held this year in St. Paul. The game showcases many of the nation’s top players expected to be selected in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft.
Janicke has played two years with the United States National Team Developmentt Program in Michigan for two years and this coming year will play for the Bloomington Flying Aces in Bloomington Illinois in the United States Hockey League. He will enroll next fall at Notre Dame.
