Totino-Grace Girls Soccer Edges Champlin Park
Kayla Terhaar and Ellen Jacob scored second half goals to rally the Totino-Grace girls soccer team to a 2-1 win over Champlin Park.
It is the first loss of the season for the Rebels (7-1-0). Maille Mathis scored her 13th goal of the season in the first half to give Champlin Park the lead.
Eagles’ goalie Emma Lamen came up with several big saves to preserve the win for Grace (5-1-2).
Champlin Park is ranked second in the state in Class AA. Totino-Grace is ranked sixth in Class A.
The regular season ends next week with section playoffs starting the week of October 12th.
