Terry Tuma Ice Fishing Tip: Subtle Jigging for Cold Weather Conditions

In this week’s CCX Ice Fishing Tip, Hall of Fame angler Terry Tuma talks about using subtle jigging actions for tough bite fish.

In extreme cold weather, like this week in Minnesota, Terry says to match the jigging action according to a fish’s movement.

Too much movement, like an aggressive lift and drop method, can spook the fish. 

A spring bobber can also provide gentle jigging action.

Also watch for twists in your fishing line and keep and an eye on your lure spin.
